Note
It is critical that you configure the Application language in Installation Options tab prior to configuring settings on the PDF Creation Tab. Failure to do so can cause incorrect Job Options files to appear in the end user's Job Options drop down list.
Printer settings¶
Print a PDF Choose File Print or click icon in the toolbar. Select a Printer and number of Copies to print. (Optional) Click Properties to open the Printer properties. The Adobe Flatten PDF function is a feature in Adobe Acrobat DC and Pro DC that allows you to remove layering in a PDF document and render it as a printable file. The feature is extremely useful when you have interactive elements in a PDF but you don't want them to remain interactive when distributing the file to a larger audience, especially online. It sounds like Adobe is attempting to use its default fonts instead of the document's fonts. I was having a similar problem and the following fixed it for me (I'm using a Windows 7 Platform and Office 2010 Professional and was attempting to print a MapPoint Map to Adobe PDF in Adobe X.): 1. When you use the Acrobat online tool to convert PPT files to PDF, each slide will be turned into an individual PDF page in the converted file. Acrobat preserves the document formatting, so your content will look as expected in the converted PDF on Mac or Windows.
PDF printer settings allow you to streamline enterprise workflows and improve business efficiency by standardizing how printing works across your organization. Many of the settings automate process such as automatically adding document metadata, displaying the PDF after creation, and selecting a the default output folder.
The following options are available:
